Client

Our client is a market leading German company in the field of metal processing. The group has seven locations worldwide.

Tasks

• With overall responsibility for the production plant, you will oversee the health and safety, production, maintenance, logistics, and continuous improvement departments.
• With your expertise to implement production plans, you will meet customer requirements in terms of deadlines, quality, efficiency, and costs.
• Support management in the development, design and implementation of strategic planning and annual budgets at the Spanish site.
• Direct, motivate, and lead the production team.
• Establish KPIs to monitor production results and set targets to the team.
• Continuously evaluate production performance, analyze deviations from plans and implement action plans to correct them.
• Analyze and continuously improve processes to achieve maximum productivity, and efficiency.
• Continued development and compliance with occupational health and safety, and operational safety.
• Lead the maintenance team to ensure maximum availability and efficiency of equipment by performing corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years experiences as plant- and / or production manager in an industrial company.
• Experience in plant maintenance, production logistics and CIP.
• University / Applied Sciences degree in engineering.
• Proven experience with CIP methodologies (Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma).
• Fluent Spanish and English language skills.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Customer focus, decision making, independent acting and proactivity.
